Igniting passion and empowerment for women
The Kindling Project believes all women have a tiny fire inside that needs fuel and fanning. We are committed to creating spaces for women to tap into their passion projects by prioritizing themselves, their interests, and their talents.
We dreamed of curating a day filled with inspiration, and after months of meticulous planning, our flagship event, Kindle Her Fire, was a phenomenal success.
The Venue:
The venue in the picturesque downtown Northville was the perfect setting for this intimate and welcoming event. The Tipping Point provided a cozy atmosphere that complimented and hosted the dreams of so many of the women who make up this amazing community of women.
Inspiring and Heartfelt Stories
An incredible lineup of women speakers graced the stage and took us on a powerful journey of self-discovery and emotion. They reminded us of our true desires and inspired us to take action toward our dreams. Each speaker brought their unique perspective, from Jacki Smith's intention ceremony to Erin Wiley's expertise in therapy and inner child work. Ber-Henda Williams reminded us of the importance of accepting all the peaks and valleys of life. At the same time, Linda Schlesinger-Wagner delivered a relatable message on the importance of not taking NO for an answer and never giving up (never, ever!)
The afternoon session was just as impactful, with Kimberly Willis inspiring us with her breast cancer journey and the power of embracing rejection. Lilith Von-Tal shared her story of saying no with strength. Finally, keynote speaker Jenny Feter closed the day with her moving and laughter-inducing stories about failing forward.
The talented emcee, Laura Khalil, kept the show lively with her quick wit and attention to detail, skillfully orchestrating the entire lineup.
Friends of TKP
The energy in the room was electric, with one hundred women ready to listen, learn, and connect. Laughter filled the air, and hearts were filled with determination. Lunch provided by Jessica Poole from Little Salumi added to the overall experience, and the support of numerous sponsors made the event even stronger.
